01 / The customer decision
Start with the information the visitor needs.
A catalogue should organise the details that matter to a purchase: product names, models, specifications and applications. A page of unlabeled images may leave the buyer unable to explain what they are asking about.
Define the relationship between products and pages. Twenty product records do not automatically fit a five-page package, and a product archive, filters and comparison tools need an agreed implementation.
02 / A practical content plan
Show products without taking online payments: a useful starting structure.
This is an example content plan for discussion. It describes information to organise, rather than an automatic promise that every feature or section is included.
Category introduction
Help the buyer identify the relevant product family using understandable names.
Product information
Agree the fields needed for a useful model description, including only verified specifications.
Enquiry context
Make it easy to reference the product or model when asking for pricing or advice.
Update workflow
Discuss who maintains products and which fields the CMS needs to support.
03 / Choose by the work required
Check the fit before choosing a package.
- Choose enquiry-led
- Prices depend on requirements or buyers need advice before ordering.
- Assess the $200 scope
- Five pages with supported CMS may fit a small agreed catalogue presentation.
- Discuss separately
- Checkout, stock control, large catalogues, filters and ERP connections require their own scope.
04 / Promotional packages
A clear scope at each price.

| 5 pagesBusiness website | $150 | No CMS | Discuss $150 scope ↗ |

These are promotional website packages. They are separate from the standard website packages. The ten- and twenty-page limits include the shared website pages; they are not extra pages added on top.
I agree page types, source content and functionality before work starts. Payment, delivery, domain, hosting, revisions and support arrangements should be confirmed with your project scope. No recurring service, advanced integration or unlimited future work is implied by the page count.
05 / Prepare a useful brief
What to send with your enquiry.
- A list of products and categories.
- Approved specifications and images.
- The fields needed in a quotation enquiry.
- Expected update frequency and who manages it.
Public website links and a description of your needs are enough to start the discussion. Share account access through an appropriate invitation when needed; do not put passwords in an enquiry message.
06 / Before you decide
Questions about this website scope.
Does one product equal one page?
I agree the page and content model before pricing. Product count and website page count are not automatically interchangeable.
Can it include a download?
Share the approved file and where it belongs. Document libraries and file management need a defined scope.
Can checkout be added later?
That is a separate ecommerce decision involving payments and operations. It is not included automatically.
